• The Asia Foundation is a non-profit, non-governmental organization committed to the development of a peaceful, prosperous, just, and open Asia-Pacific region. The Foundation supports programs in Asia that help improve governance and law, economic reform and development, women's empowerment, and international relations.

The Hunger Project

• The Hunger Project is a global, strategic organization committed to the sustainable end of world hunger. In Africa, Asia and Latin America, it works to empower local people to create lasting society-wide progress in health, education, nutrition, family incomes. It uses a two-prong strategy: mobilizing grassroots people for self-reliant development, and mobilizing committed local leadership to clear away obstacles, cut red-tape and mobilize resources to enable grassroots action to succeed. Its highest priority is the empowerment of women.

• Greenpeace Fund identifies, researches, monitors and implements programs to aid in the increase of public awareness and understanding of environmental issues through media and other educational programs. Today their work focuses on six major efforts: saving ancient forests, stopping global warming, exposing toxic pollutants, protecting the oceans, eliminating the threat of genetic engineering, and ending the nuclear age.
