A popular Hispanic wedding ceremony custom requires the groom to give the bride 13 coins. The giving of "arras" symbolizes the groom’s ability to support and care for his bride. It also represents the memory of Christ and his 12 apostles. During the ceremony, the bride carries the coins in a special pouch or small box.

A wonderful keepsake, our beautiful Arras comes with 13 large gold or silver plated coins. Each coin measures 30mm diameter (almost a half-dollar size) and features a unique non-denomination design, representing one of thirteen universal tenets of marriage:  Amor, Confianza, Dedicacion, Respeto, Alegria, Felicidad, Armonia, Sabiduria, Unidad, Sustento, Cuidado, Cooperacion, Paz.
